Jim and Brenda Seratt have a rich heritage in Christian life and ministry. Both were raised in Pastor’s homes, and know the sacrifice and discipline necessary to fulfill a calling from GOD. They were married in 1971, and immediately entered into full-time ministry. After spending four years in evangelistic ministry, they were led to enter the pastoral ministry, in which they have remained for the last 33 years.
Although Jim and Brenda give the majority of their time serving as Pastors of Grace Community Church, both are bi-vocational. Jim completed his Masters Degree in History at Lamar University in 1995, and has served as Lecturer in American History at Lamar University (Beaumont) since 1995. Brenda is employed as a Licensed Christian Counselor at Howton Family Counseling Center, which serves the entire Golden Triangle.
The Seratts have two children, Jim Jr., and Misty Dawn, and two grandchildren, Chase and Gage.
